HAZOP & LOPA Training at Dharmawangsa Hotel 19 - 20 March 2013 Hazard and operability study (HAZOP) is a mandatory requirement in most refineries in oil and gas industry. This is a methodology to systematically identify and analyze hazard as well as operability of a system to qualitatively recognize the risks. Both the severity of impact or consequence of a credible scenario and the frequency are taken into account to make prioritization to the risk. LNG Tangguh has been nearly 5 years in operation, and as required by company policy it should undergo a HAZOP revalidation. Why this has to be done? Soon after being commissioned and started-up, there were several modifications to the plant facilities. Although HAZOP is always conducted for every modification or projects but still there is a need to review it as a whole to avoid any gaps which might contain significant impact. As part of the program a HAZOP refresher training batch-1 has been conducted on 19 - 20 March 2013 at Dharmawangsa Hotel, Jakarta which was attended by 22 participants. The training includes Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA). It is a semi quantitative method to analyze, prevent and mitigate risks. Helfia Nil Chalis ChalisHomeBiz.Com Mencari uang di internet
